The middle one's goofy too
Bella is practicing the whole potty thing, and gets upset when she pees in her diaper and then there's nothing left for her to pee into the toilet. This happened just now, as it does three or four times a day (I am always just a bit late for everything too, so she must get it from me).
Bella is sitting on the toilet, clearly frustrated.
"Now I need batteries for my butt," she says, "to make more pee."

Too cute! My son said something similar at about the same age and in the same situation. "Mommy," he said as he sat on the potty, "my penis must have new batteries because it's doing a lot of activities lately."
I miss Philly. We're transplanted to central VA from Drexel Hill. Anyway, thanks for the good read.
That is too cute! At least she really wants to succeed at this potty thing!
